Brookgreen garden- Murrell's inlet, sc

This was my first time visiting the Brookgreen Gardens and I was in awe! The statues, Spanish moss dripping from the giant oaks, and pretty fountains were such a beautiful back drop for Loren and Andrew's engagement session. Loren had a few outfit changes and I loved every single one- each dress worked so well for this location. And can we talk about her ring?? So perfect! Andrew said her only input was she wanted a 'unique ring' and I think he nailed it. The unique but also classic design is absolutely stunning, and I think it goes so well with Loren's personality. Loved my time with these two and can't wait to capture their wedding next year!
There are restrictions to shooting at Brookgreen- you must reserve a spot and pay a fee, but it is so, so worth it. I was a little worried about the time of day (we were here late afternoon, not even close to golden hour. early April for reference) but the trees offered plenty of shade for photographs. I think anytime of day except for maybeee high-noon, would work well with this location.
